Beginning March 1, or shortly thereafter, you will see most of CAT's business start going to FedEXCC. There is a new agreement in place, and CAT wants to go to a single source to handle expedites instead of using a list of approved carriers. Since business is down, FedEx has a fleet large enough to accomodate this, and FedEx Supply Chain will broker out the ones they can't handle. Of course there are always plants that have materials managers with carrier preferences, so Tri State and some of the other smaller carriers will still see some CAT business here and there - but nothing like it used to be.

Now they have 20 cargo vans on Detroit area and you have to wait 7 days to get a load offer
I think TriState lost more than just Caterpillar....They incredible slow .I think they lost couple more customers....
Losing freight? Me thinks there is none to lose.....
Reality check. Everybody is slow. I have friends (and former fleet owners) at all of the major carriers including FedEx and they all say the same thing: they're sitting way more than running.
Everybody is losing freight right now. If you have questions about customers, call TS. Don't be one of those little old ladies gossiping at the truck stops.*
*This isn't directed at you personally Mike99
My hats off to ya Mike....I don't know how you make money....a couple bad drivers, a couple big repairs and wham the profits gone....I wish you well.
Yes ,made. I would like to sell the vans to the drivers ,the problem is they don't have money to buy...I think I will park the vans in my backyard for couple of months and after that will see.The problem is that I will still have to pay the Qualcomm fees and the insurance. If I take them out, the carriers may not taking me back...I noted you capped MADE not MAKING....hope you can get out before ya lose your shirt...sell the vans to the drivers?
