Transmission Help?

Anyone know a good transmission shop near Rochester Hills Michigan? We're having problems with our Ford E350 Van.
I searched out one called Transmissions Unlimited in Utica and will proably call in the morning. They seem to check out with ATRA membership and BBB.org.
The overdrive light has been going on &off while the transmission doesn't seem to change gears. Now the transmission has to almost be manually shifted through the gears.

Sincerely,

Big Al

Why not go to a Ford dealer and get a nationwide warranty on labor and parts?Just wondering.

We seem to have solved the problem with the old style trouble shooting "KISS", they put it up on the rack and cleaned all the connectors. Seems to work, Thank God!

I am totally disgusted with Dealers. They raise the hood and it's a minimum $70-100 even if it's only 10 minutes. ATRA certified shops have a Nationwide Golden Rule warranty. I also go to BBB.org to check out their record as a backup but there's nothing better than first hand experience from fellow driver's.

That could be a bad speed sensor in the trans, it's not difficult to replace. I've had the same prolbem in my e-350 as well. It's quite common.
