Sad, but heroic in a way.

I know UK is going through turmoil right now about, suicide, assisted suicide and euthansia.

Sad subject :(

I think the idea of assisted suicide is an idea that needs to be discussed with family and doctors, the government has no place in it. It isn't like a doctor is helping to end the life of someone because they lost their job although if that person wants to kill themselves they should be able to as well.

There were a few documentaries on Netflix about similar situations, within the last few months. They were sad and very interesting at the same time.

Just like most people I belive in staying untill the bitter end.
BUT,from working in the meddical field, My mom dying a piece at a time because of juvinile diabetes, my wifes mom due to breast and then bone cancer, and lymphoma I can definitely get behind the assisted suicide in fact euthenasia. Just as Ontario Van Man hit on why do we put an animal down to save it from suffering but let loved ones suffer and if we help or dont snitch on them its a crime. I think the storry was a bitter sweet storry, too bad the man was suffering and the only way he could end it was end his life but also a happy ending as he gave up his own life to save the suffering of others and his own.
