I felt the need to post this as a counter point to the bashing of today's youth some on here seem take pleasure in.
My daughters sorority along with other sororities, fraternities and students at Ball State university took part in a dance marathon for Riley Children's hospital in Indianapolis. College and highschool age students in Indiana have raised over 20 million dollars since its inception in 1991!
I got this text from my daughter this morning letting me know how the Ball State kids did and have to say I admire them big time!
"WE RAISED $344,801.21! I'm on my way to work for the day. But thank you for your donation! The goal was 250,000."
Guess today's youth aren't as worthless as some seem to portray! If anyone has a couple extra dollars donations can still be made, my daughters link is or if you know a student that might have participated you can look them up at the site.
