I agree. We wall have breakdowns. We try to assist our good partner carriers whenever possible. Goes around comes around. We had a partner carrier with a load in Tx and the driver went to the hospital. We went there, recovered the van and the load, delivered it and returned the van. Maybe it wasn't profitable but good karma is a GOOD thing in my book.
There you go Newb and wanna be Carriers. Cooperate and Graduate is the way, if you choose
to be successful. I once had a truck in Laredo, empty. Trans Stewart had a truck oos at the scalehouse North of there, I offered the truck with a liftgate, dock plate and jack to rescue the load at a buck a mile, all miles, roughly $350. Got a call from them wondering why I was trying to rip them off when they needed help. I guess tho Cooperation will not always beget Cooperation. Do your vetting and choose carefully whom you attempt to Cooperate with.
BTW, who is this Peter fella and TK? Musta come to the Alliance after I retired.
