Some might say you have too much time on your hands to calculate all that.

I agree, local work can be quite rewarding time & money wise.

I have one stoplight in particular that I seem to get stuck at every time. I've been wondering how much of my life has been spent there.:(

Looking myself to start working hard like you next year whether its with the company I'm with now or some other company that runs SoCal local. I just don't want to be over the road anymore, even thou I'm happy with the change to expediting I did a year and a half ago.

Wow... and I thought many of the numbers I meticulously keep tabs on were overkill... Minutes at redlights and stopsigns is a new one - I am impressed!! I don't have the time to keep tabs on that though... LoL

on my gps keeps track of time stop and add that to book and at end of week and move it to next column then for total of the month just like keeping track of how much fuel you buy
it all started in 92 when a roberts express disptacher ask why are you running late
said i've gone thru 238 red lights and caught 63 of them at 3.5 mins each you do the math
from my house to pickup up route 13 to 95
they started it all and they though i was being wise guy
