If I tried to pull a 58# bow, it would win. Bad shoulders were one of the reasons I gave up archery. That and bow season fell during duck season and I much prefer duck hunting to deer hunting.

I don't know if you are planning on only target or both target and hunting, either way, ENJOY!

I got a Hoyt reflex. It is set on 31" draw length with 70# weight. I plan to take my boy out and get a deer when now season starts next month.

I got long arms. Lol What arrows do you have? I am shooting Easton carbons and they are by far more true than the carbon express and a bit more affordable. I think a dozen fletched and target tipped was $71 but I opted to get led nocks installed.

Btw what does the brute x run pricewise?

I have long arms but not that long I'm only at 29 1/2. Its a mainline bow bare is only 399.00 but it has great reviews most saying it shoots like a much higher priced bow. Of course by the time i was done it was a good deal more. I have Easton bloodlines not going to spend a lot on arrows until I shoot a good amount. I think they are like 55.00 a dozen decent arrows.

Correction the arrows are about double that price.

Xiggi--- if u ever fall down on that bow , it will take u 2 hours to untangle yourself, PS carry boltcutters with you just for backup, imho. PS, how do u carry that concealed???

Thanks got the arrows for 60 bucks when I put together the package. If I had known they were discounted that much I would have bought two dozen.

Nice outfit. To think I miss my old Golden Eagle.......:)

Used to shoot the outdoor range in N Liberty Iowa about every week. Indoor range, not as fun.

Got a bad right shoulder and had to give it up, a few years back. Missed a couple of deer in my short ventures, but never got fully into it, but loved to shoot for hobby.

Had to go out to pasture and take up golf for a while. Coin collecting could be a safe bet in a few more years. :(
