I've gone into Canada many of times but never stayed there or bought anything. One day I was real hungry and stopped at a Tim Hortons, I was impressed, their coffee tastes great and so do the muffins and bagels. I sure some of you guys already know this but for those of you who don't you gotta go there. The coffee is real strong and the donuts have a real good taste you can taste.

Every time we go to Canada we stop at a Tim Hortons in the early hours for a box of Timbits and a couple of their great cups of coffee. Seems as if there are as many Tim Hortons in Canada as their are Subways in the U.S. Eat up and enjoy. :9 :9 :7

There are Timmys in the Detroit and Ohio area now! But the U.S pricing is higher then Canada. Can't figure that out, but then again I find prices higher for alot of fast food in the U.S. when exchange is figured in!

We're hooked on Timmy's too. Have found several in the Columbus area , also Toledo and Dayton. We finally had to break down and buy the cans so we could enjoy it when we're home and now we're picking it up for some family members because we shared and they're hooked too!!

Now, I don't want to be disloyal, but Krispy Kreme does a better doughnut. Tim's aren't as good as they were in the past, I stick to coffee and bagels.
Tim Hortons was bought out by Wendy's. They are slowly expanding the chain in the States but in the Great Lakes states like Ohio, Michigan and New York.
For those of you who come to Toronto from the Niagara Falls / Buffalo area, take the Dorval Drive exit from the Queen Elizabeth Way at Oakville. The Tim Hortons head office and showcase outlet is just south of the QEW.
You can buy cans of Tim Hortons coffee at DOMINION and FOOD BASICS grocery stores in Ontario.

Thanks RobA for the Timmy tips. We do buy their donuts, Hubby likes the double choc. and I always get a box of Timbits to munch on down the road, wish they would sell a box of coffee like dunkin donuts....

I have never in my life had such wonderful baked goods as Tim Hortons has (And considering my size I believe I am an expert on food! :+ ) My favorite thing they have is their sandwiches!
Its funny, since my girlfriend lives in England I read a lot of British websites. One sites for Americans living in England is all a flutter because Krispie Kreme is opening a shop inside Harrods Department store in London. I have never seen the big fuss over Krispie Kremes. They say they are awesome hot! WELL DUH! Have you ever seen a donut that wasn't?
I keep thinking what would happen if they opened a Timmys in London. I bet within a week people would be throwing rocks as Krispie Kreme.
If you ever get a chance try their peanut butter cookies. When coming out of Canada Mike and I would always stop at the last Timmys on the 401 just before getting into Windsor. At first we bought one dozen. Each trip we kept buying more and more until we were at around 4 dozen. And we still had only one or two cookies left when we reached Detroit!
Sadly, this is all in the past. Mikey now has Diabetes and we are both now on the Atkins diet. Yes we are losing a lot of weight. but it pretty much took Timmys off the board. Maybe I can smell the cookies as I go by..lol

It is sad to see the quality at timmys slowly slipping away.No doubt this is due to the Bean Counters at WENDYS being in charge.Dave is turning over in his grave.They are not serving his memory well by serving cold burgers and watered down chili. My bet is that as time goes by timmys will meet a simular fate.
