You need to read the Code of Conduct for EO. You just can't come on here putting peoples names out there and bashing them. Personally I think they did you a favor. If I were a fleet owner thinking of hiring you and saw that it would make me think twice about the hire. Mainly because how do I know you won't be posting my name in the near future if things don't work out with things that may or may not be true behind it?
Actually nope the 1st does not apply here...it's a private web site and they "allow" you to access it for your enjoyment....and you upon signing up agreed to certain rules.

Plus doesn't the 1st amendment only apply to the government restricting your free speech? I don't think I remember my government teacher saying anything about a private group.

Example: you send a letter to the editor of a newspaper and he/she choses not to print it....is that censorship? Can U claim the 1st???

Thanks for the clarification! I love when we get accused of limiting the "truth" on topics...there are hundreds - no, thousands of posts that are controversial or critical of everything under the sun in trucking.

apparently 1st amendment rights don't apply here...especially when the truth is involved
Who is to say it is the truth? No one knows. What was posted was nothing more than hearsay from one source with no substantiation of the facts.
This site is not for that purpose as another member posted. This site or yourself should not subject themselves to any liability because YOU failed to investigate your endeavors.
If you have been wronged, AND can actually prove it, then take it to the appropriate court.
Lastly, with less than ten posts, one would have little credibility on this type of subject. As also mentioned, your posting is in violation of the site rules.
Simple as that.

The civics lesson has already been well presented. There are limitations on what can be said in the forum from legal and liability standpoints.
One thing I can tell, in case anyone isn't aware of it, the moderators do not arbitrarily look for posts to tamper with or people to mess with. We would love nothing more than for everyone to be mature and professional at all times. When folks are immature and/or unprofessional, especially to the point of getting themselves banned, that is completely not what we want or hope or look for. This should be a professional place for professional people so when we do something just immediately tell yourself it's what's in the best interest of the forum as a whole.

Why would you say such things as that. Sorry I saw how I could delete part of the positive and spin it into a negative and I thought it was funny. I don't actually know what it means to call someone a "tool" but the high school kids that come to the community college use it as an insult alot. Guess I have a dry sense of humor today.

Basically we have an example of a probable drive-by poster, who signed up and thought they would garner some sympathy for being a bad businessman, bashing people by name who cannot or may choose not to defend themselves in this setting. On the other hand, the poster's identity has yet to be made public and will probably never be known as they continue on in their ways.
I was talking about the website of EO being a tool to help people in this business. Never heard the word "tool" used as a insult. Wasn't trying to do that at all. Sorry if you took it that way.

Just to let Bruno and everyone else know I was just picking and joking around in what I said. I know he was speaking positive of the site. I was trying to derail the whole "EO restricts my 1st amendment rights spill" because I get tired of it. Sorry if I offended anyone. Next time I will choose a better joke.
Oh Bruno I think others will tell you I like to joke it's just good that I not pursing a comedy career to pay the bill. Know what I mean?
