This One's Probably Too Obvious

I found I didn't have a good place to put my clipboard with my shipping papers while I secured the freight, unsecured the freight, moved things around, etc. so I put a plastic clipboard holder on the inside wall of my cargo box near the doors. This way if I forget it it will be in the holder in the back of the truck rather than sitting on a dock somewhere. I put it high enough that a forklift won't have an easy time tearing it off the wall on the way in or out.

This is probably one of those things that lots of people do and don't think anything about it, but if you aren't doing it it works great.

Thats a really good idea. I've never thought about that... Now if we could come up with a hanger for our load locks so we don't forget them! lol

Please keep forgetting the load locks. I apprciate it when a dock guy says "I don't know who is but you are here, want it?"

As for the clip board, great idea but let me suggest if you carry large loads, put it on the inside portion of your door. You put it near the edge so when the door is opened, you can easily reach it while on the dock. That way the fork will never hit it. Now in my case I still managed to tear it up but did so when I tore the entire damn door off. Oh well

Looking for load bars (E track) will pay big $ for ones in good condition.
