Thinking about replacing a van or truck with a van, which would you choose?

There have been a number of threads where I've pointed out advantages of the Aerocell. I believe it is significantly superior to anything the big three has to offer, including the new Sprinter.

I've gotta agree with leo. The aerocell has so many advantages it would be hard to even consider anything else.

I love my sprinter but I really think it's built a little light for this kind of work. I would choose a single wheel cutaway. I voted for cube van because I guess that's what it is, just on the small side. I know Landstar likes these and there are a few signed on with Fedex. Good old American iron. No expensive oils and fluids. All the filters and service parts are redily availadle and no special (1-guy) tech needed at the dealership. Just get it fixed when you need it.

I voted for a Sprinter as well - I find that it is a pleasure to own/operate/drive for the most part. Now if it only had a bit more cushy ride ...... ;)

I gotta agree with Tom though - I think they are built a little lighter than I personally would prefer - and I try and drive it "easy" when I'm hauling any significant weight. I haven't been in the new '07's but it sounds like DC made some progress on what I consider it's biggest shortcoming - lack of storage in the cab.
