Those famous words"Need your help on this one" sure puts up a red flag and you know the offer is a mess and a zillion other trucks refused it. I guess your sensitive about the new truck issue,don!t blame you,we are holding out ,our D has 708,000 on it and since it is a 96 we are on an extension with it. I am going to try to convince the powers in Ohio that if they gave me 10 years I would overhaul the whole truck,send them receipts etc. We all know they make exceptions.

In my not so humble opinon it isn't hard to figure out why people have slowed down on posting. I think the reasons are two fold.

1. Park and Screw- Since PNV went out of business the first time trying to find an internet connection on the road there for a while was like trying to find hens teeth. Other than draging your computer inside the resturant or trying to connect with your cell phone it has become very difficult to connect. Now since Petros, Lying J's and Idle aire are all offering wi-fi internet connections at a somewhat reasonable price it might pickup again.

2. Its the Economy stupid-with the cost of fuel and everything else going up and freight coming more scarce I think many people went into a funk. If you aren't making money and maybe wondering why you ever got into this in the first place (And didn't want to sit here and cry in public)you didn't say anything. I know in my case in the last year. I had very little good to say about expediting. And like Mama always said "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". That is why i haven't been on much.

With nearly everyone having a cell phone theses days (except me...lol)On time media should (just a suggestion) look into a WAP option for the board. Then you can post/read replies anywhere. I am currently building a site for a local Masonic lodge and the host included WAP enabled email accounts. If it is that cheap, maybe it is something to look into.

Just my 2 cents. Bout what my ramblings are worth.

Well I notice lots of readers won't reply at all. Probably because out of fear of being identified. (Which I can understand) I'd post questions that no one has answered, but I'm sure they know something on this topic but prefer not to disclose. Mabe one day it will get better.
