Canada The Worst Roads

One of the list is very familiar to many expediters:
HURON CHURCH ROAD in Windsor.
(people grumbling about all those dam*ed trucks :+ :+ :+ :+ )
Another road that makes the list is Highway 401 for it's congestion.
Royal Windsor Drive in Mississauga is a freakin' disgrace!
Ontario roads are deteriorating at a fast rate.
That's one thing I admire about the USA; most of your fuel taxes go back into maintaining the roads. (or so I'm told)

I'm sure most drivers have their own list of "worst roads".

interesting to see that the E.C. Row expressway is 11th on the list. while i have not traversed the entire length of it, from the 401 heading east(i think) to the ford plant(aprox 6-7 miles) i think it's in fairly good shape.DD.

Ok, I know this is waaaaaay off topic - but add the entire state of Michigan....even though it's not part of the Province.:7

Sheesh, that state drives me nuts with it's bad roads.

In comparison to the streets of detroit the streets of ontario are golden. I'd swear that Iv'e driven over 2 foot deep potholes and felt my insides rattle.

What about your state of Kentucky...Roads are going downhill fast.Have you been on I65 between Louisville and Elizabethtown lately.

Try Washington State, March 25th $2.81 a gallon for Diesel.. All roads paved in you would think gold.... Concrete 10 20 30 foot sections everythink shaked loose for miles and miles and miles and more miles.. Makes I 55 or 57 in AR look like a skating rink.

Stay away from Washington if at all possible that is just one of the miserable expierences other than they have the highest unemployment and workerscompensation rates in the country. Its no wonder Boeing and all of its Expediting Business has gone elsewhere.

Big debates on AM talk shows while I was out there. Great place to fly in and out of to visit otherwise open wide cause there gona take all and than some. Leave your Visa no better yet you better take two cards with you. Could only or was willing to put in 50 gallons for the shower and meet a driver who had extra shower tickets. Fill up was 51 gallons X 2.81. No Washer/Dryer Facilities and the Truck stops over fill at 11:00 AM EST. There are only three in all of Western Washington.

And our gov wants more restrictions on us.

Please People lets stand up let OOIDA and our voted officials know about this. Its only gona get worse and head East.
