The wisdom of Howard Dean

Well, not really wisdom as the guy is your typical dumber than dirt liberal moron. He accidentally said something wise though, unknown to him I'm sure and never to be spoken if he'd known what he was saying. Speaking of the terrorist attack in France he said, paraphrased, "The French have extreme gun control and they still got assault rifles.".

Those with common sense understand what he accidentally said. Gun control is a farce. Gun control doesn't work. Gun control only punishes the honest, law-abiding citizens who are not and will not be a problem. Gun control is an idiotic idea.

It has been illustrated numerous times, most recently in France. He will likely never say that again and may work on some form of spin for that major gaffe. It's out there though and likely one of the few times he's told the truth, even if unintentionally.

When I read the thread title my first thought was, "There's an oxymoron if I ever saw one. Wisdom and Howard Dean? Uhm, no." Then I clicked on the thread and saw the deal.

But lest people get the wrong idea, that Dean said something smart and intelligent, that he imparted wisdom, even if by accident, right after he said, "France has tremendous gun control laws, and yet these people are able to get Kalashnikovs," his very next utterance was, "So, this is really complicated stuff."

So, taken out of context it seems like intelligent wisdom, but when you view it in context he's still just as butt-stoopid as ever.

Oh, it's not intelligent wisdom on his part by any means. He lacks that capacity. It does make the point of the failings of gun control quite well though.

What does that say about those who believe the swill he spews?
