Are you having eye problems?? I didn't say "only" liberals, I didn't say "most" liberals, I didn't even say "some" liberals and "a certain percentage of conservatives"........I said liberals plain and simple. Now, I didn't come in here to argue with you nor did I come in here for you to twist my words into something I didn't say. You need to read it for what it is and move on.

You know what happens when you "assume".....well it's happening to you right now.....read it right or block me, I don't care which.

Soooooo, in your mind only "liberals" will think this is weird?

I'm sure their are some conservatives that just might think this is weird, I think their might be some religious folk that think this is weird, I think that their might be some independants that might think this is weird, their might be some democrats, republicans, neo-cons, right wing, left wing, anarchists, enviromentalists, feminists, socialists, hillbillies, rednecks, yankees, etc, etc, that just might think this is weird. Then, I suppose, some in that list I just gave will find what Mr. Santorum did was perfectly fine.

Here's the thing, you can take Diva's original quote, replace "liberals" with any of the items from your list, and her statement remains just as valid, and correct, as the original. No need to work so hard for a confrontation. Just because her original statement didn't include a laundry list of all possibilities doesn't mean her statement was meant to exclude all of the possibilities.

If she had said, "Dogs bark," it doesn't mean that dogs, dogs, and only dogs bark, and that no other animal, human or otherwise barks. Fact is, monkeys, birds and seals bark, but that doesn't mean "Dogs bark," is somehow not a true statement or doesn't allow for other possibilities.

Dogs are mammals, but not all mammals are dogs. Thumbs are fingers, but not all fingers are thumbs. Liberals are crazy, conservatives are crazy, but not all crazies are liberal or conservative. What does that mean? I can get pedantic with the best of 'em.

I can't quite see myself doing what the Santorums did after a miscarriage, but neither could I criticize them for doing it. They expressed their deep love in their own way, and to ridicule it is just way out of bounds.
