The signs are everywhere

I've been noticing an awful lot of "memorial" signs, such as "The Trooper John J 'Buzzy' Smith Memorial Highway" recently. So now I'm wondering what will happen when all the highways, bridges, tunnels, overpasses, pedestrian walkways, and interchanges have been named in honor of someone - will we be seeing "The John Q Jones" Memorial Telephone Pole, & "The Mary Q Jones Memorial Fire Hydrant" ?
But what really has me on tentaclehooks is waiting to see who will win the jackpot in the spending spree on 'naming rights' (ie: FedEx Field, Verizon Amphitheater, etc) - I'm betting my grandchildren will be calling it The Yahoo White House.

Aw come one. Its not that bad is it? I mean i go watch the Detroit Lions at Ford Field and the Tigers at Comerica Park (or the COPA for short) After i might go see a concert at DTE Energy Music Theatre. I dont see the business connections here in Detroit. Must just be in other locations.

I should add we do have 2 stadiums that arent named yet. Palace of Auburn Hills and Joe Luis Arena along with COBO Hall/Arena. But alot of the places have changed names.

As Ozzy Osbourne says... GOD BLESS THE ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR!!!

They have the FedEx Forum in Memphis where the Memphis Grizzlies play at. Plus they have concerts and other venues there as well. In Little Rock, AR there is the Altell Arena. They have everything from Pro Bull Riding to Monster Trucks to concerts there.
