The Minnesota super truckers

next time you have fun driving your rig, and are being forced to park it after driving 11 hours in nice weather ,remember this.
the Minnesota DOT snow plows drivers are working on a 12 hours shift.
they have being for many years.
it's not like they are driving a comfortable well design drivers environment,in the middle of nowhere .
those plows are very complicated to operate ,
and they drive inches away from parked cars ,mailboxes ,children, the innocent motoring public ,and your grandma's.
they will work in extreme bad weather ,with zero visibility, and many blind spots.
but when all of us ,are sure to fall asleep behind the wheel, after only 11 hours ,
the Minnesota super truckers can safely stay awake for one more hour .

Just incase you wondered if the new proposed Hours of service is about safety or money...

When I did salting for the DOT via contractor..we had no hours of limitation....we'd work the entire storm and then some....
