>A Happy Thanksgiving to all who read this... along with all
>drivers out there who may or may not be on the big road
>somewhere in America (and/or Canada). Be Thankful drivers...
>you may not be home, but hopefully you're warm (not
>freezing), safe, and not hungry.
>
>If your on the road, partake in some CB chatter, loosen up
>some... play a video game you normally would not. Get a
>movie to watch... or, if your near an Idle Aire Center
>(Mostly by T/A's and Petro's) I recommend investing into a
>session for a possible long layover.
>If not a long layover, atleast it may be more
>enjoyable/bearable.
>Sit at the counter in a truckstop and strike up a
>conversation... just because you are layed over doesn't mean
>there's nobody to talk to.
>Be Thankful for every freedom we have to enjoy and all our
>choices we have in America... and know that everything we
>use was at one time or another... on a truck.
>
>And Every freedom we have was fought to be given to us by
>our men (and women) in the military. Be thankful for them...
>and if there's any members/readers on EO...
>who have friends/family in the military - wish them a Happy
>Thanksgiving from Expediters Online.com's family.
>
>Happy Thanksgiving Everybody.
>
>Sincerely
>BigBusBob
Amen to that
Also take time to remember those who came before us and have taken that final expedited trip to be home to their maker.
PS.. if you are out this holiday weekend be extra careful on the highways and byways. pay extra atention to the others out driving, they may have their minds on other things, not driving.
