I don't know what the seating area size is. It has a 980 pound carrying capacity and the pickup version has 1052 capacity. That's more than I'd have suspected actually.

The good old days!!! Back in the 90's Atripco (courier co.) in Toronto had several Vespas with a little larger box than the one pictured. They used them in the city core. They didn't last too long! The winter I suspect was hard on them. Thanks for the laugh!!
