'Twas two weeks till Christmas
and all wasn't well
The ice and the snow
added heck to the dwell

Everyone's worried
about making it home
with enough cash made
so they can soak in the warmth

Mama's waiting at home
and making it right
the tree is all lit
and is so ever bright

The presents are wrapped
the menu's designed
And the Hubby's in Texas
hoping he'll find

That elusive trip
within a few days
if not, he'll deadhead
a very long way

Here's hoping that all
will share in the love
that comes with the season
and the love of your life.

Not discolored yet, but I couldn't eat them all...waiting for Ken to get home and try them. And I've got the makings to make more...they are super delicious!

So is this tread not to offend Batman and Wonder Woman? Where we can Banter or not to Banter?

split more fire wood this morning. Got a lot in before the ice comes. Moonshine in the jars aging for a day. Fried up some rabitts and corn fritters for lunch. Sitting on the front porch with 7mm mag on my lap waiting for Bambi's dad to show up.....

Well, I did split the wood today. har a har

This would be the one..wish a cord of firewood would magically appear on the back step...hey...do ya use the moonshine to start the f're?

Moonshine will brun, but not for starting fires. I use a empty tuna can filled with ashes, soak it with BBQ lighter fluid and place it in the bottom of the fire place. Put small wood on with larger on top of that, light it and forget it......
