If only we could get back to the bad old days of the Bush economy: avg gas price on Dec 31, 2008 was $1.61; in spite of the 9/11 attacks and the economic collapse brought on by Fannie and Freddie and the banks for which the Democrats refused to pass regulations the average unemployment rate during the Bush years was 5.2%. Bush spent Billions (not acceptable), but Obama and the democrats have spent TRILLIONS, and has compiled a greater deficit than all his predecessors COMBINED. How many innocent children and civilians have been died in Syria and Egypt due to the incompetent and insignificant foreign policy of Obama and his lackey Hillary Clinton? And let's not forget how Iraq is degenerating due to the Obama pullout, Afghanistan (Obama's "good war") is falling apart due to a unilateral pullout that favors the Taliban, and wait...Iran's nuclear program that steadily moves ahead while Obama plays golf and the new SECState Kerry dithers with another round of peace talks between Israel and the terrorists in Palestine. We've seen this movie before, and there is no end because nothing happens. But still the MSM refuses to hold this miserable failure of a POTUS responsible for anything, as though he really isn't there. It's always somebody else's fault. In the final analysis, history will judge differently and it won't be pretty.

I'd like to think you're right, however, history isn't on our die there. Some of the worst presidents ever--Lincoln, Clinton, FDR, & LBJ are frequently thought of as among the best, while far better men like Calvin Coolidge are demeaned. Ted Kennedy is lionized as a man of compassion rather than someone privileged who thought he knew what's best for people and used his power to steal from regular citizens and regulate them.
It seems accurate evaluations are hard to come by, the exception rather than the rule. Public opinion of Carter seems right on, and the Bushes appropriately have the public's derision, but it doesn't happen often.
Comedian Kevin Bozeman says among many comics, there are 3 untouchables--revered so much, they'll never be the target of humor or ridicule among him and others like him, no matter what: Obama, Michael Jackson, & Michael Jordan.

If you're hoping for an answer I wouldn't hold my breath ... the Turkey Choker is probably in shock ... likely after recently hearing that the CIA - an agency of the US Government - has, after 60 years, finally admitted they were responsible for the 1953 coup d'etat which overthrew a legitimate, democratically elected government in Iran:

God help me but I agree with Leo! This is the most stupid thing I have heard of in a long time. Even the NAACP wants the rodeo clown investigated! Maybe I missed something, but the articles I read seemed to indicate that the anger wasn't over the clown, but the announcer, who asked whether people would like to see the clown/Obama chased down & run over by the bull. Then asked it several more times, louder each time, "whipping the crowd up" - that's what was considered beyond acceptable.
Watching the clown with an Obama mask get chased might be humorous, but inciting the crowd [many families & children] to envision him getting run over by a bull was not.
That's my opinion, anyhow.

You mean the double standard where it's fine to cheer for the possible injury of a political opponent, but if he does anything praiseworthy, you find fault with it?
What I read [including the reader comments following the articles] is that many who objected didn't have a problem with the Obama clown, per se, [we all remember the Bush masks], but the attempt by the announcer to whip the crowd into cheering for him to get hurt.
Not a few of those "crybabies" [just can't help it, can you?] were Republican and/or conservative parents who'd brought their kids and didn't appreciate the message sent at a family event.
The clown wasn't the issue, despite all the attempts to insist that's what people objected to - it was the announcer's invitation to cheer at seeing the clown trampled [not just chased, which is funny] that crossed the line. It's ok to laugh at an opponent, but not to wish injury upon him - that's the message parents [including this one] want to impart.
