I don't know what training may or may not be taking place. I do know that there is conversation in the ranks about who would fight for, or against, the Government if stuff hits the fan. The same kind of conversations that took place in the ranks prior to the War between the States. There is also wholesale gutting of the officer and NCO ranks by the Administration, AND, many officers are getting out as soon as they can. So are many NCO's. They are fed up.
If Obama gets re-elected we ain't seen nothin' yet. More of his socialist policies can go into effect, and the taxes go up to put us back into full-blown recession. But the biggest problem is the profligate spending and his continual increase of the debt. Wait until interest rates get back to normal and we have to start paying 5-6% interest in those TRILLIONS of borrowed dollars. It will be Jimmy Carter's misery index on steroids.
However, for those who still can't imagine the future with four more years of Obamanomics, just take a look at what's happening in CA or some of our larger cities going bankrupt. These are the canaries in the mine shaft - and anyone who thinks fiscal insolvency can't happen on a national scale is kidding themselves.

Which fema camp do u all want your grandmom and granddad put in and will they get to have their heart meds and diabetic meds with them and full medical care, aaw, now the plot thickens, food , clothing and shelter for 10's of thousands, yep it can't happen, oooomy, wanna bet.

Shays rebellion, civil war, teapot dome, coal war, kent state, waco tx, US troops have been used plenty of times in the past with deadly effect against US citizens, and as a veteran, i can tell you for certain not more than 1 in 10 would disobey orders, in the enlisted ranks. Not a single bootlicking officer would resist. I hope it doesnt come to it. Unlike the first civil war, the citicens are not on an equal footing, technology has obsoleted armed rebellion. You have to win at the ballot box.

Far more enlisted, and officers, are fed up. It is very different than when I was in. People are getting out wholesale. High ranking NCO's and Officers are leaving as soon as they legally can. Far more believe in their oath to the Constitution than many may believe. There is a LOT of decent and anger in the ranks. Obama is hated, and for good reason.
As a sidebar trip, there are glimmers of food control coming, just saying. Its starting small, very small with the states controling what a child brings from home to eat at school, but it is still food control, cant wait for that to happen at the grocery store.
