Acrobat reader - yep have it version what ever on the laptop but I also have acrobat forms I use so I need the reader. I have on my home computer Acrobat 5.0 pro which I use to make the forms with.
iTunes, I use that right now on the laptop because well I never got around to moving things to another player. It does not give me any real problem, the laptop and MS S&T makes up for that.
Real player, it is somewhere here but who cares, it only pops up when I can't use some other program to listen to what ever I listen to.
IE, I got no choice, Landstar developed their entire websites around IE and it is a killer for me to use. I wish companies would not fall into the trap that everyone uses IE.
Outlook? Which version of outlook? outlook express? the real outlook with all the bells and whistles? I use outlook (the real deal) with my laptop because of the 35 email accounts I used to deal with, now there are only three. I built my rules and policies around the email accounts and won't change to anything else. There is not a real hit on performance with either computer but outlook express there is. I think a lot of people use the preview pain (yes it is spelled to mean PAIN) to read the email but they also load a cr*p load of pictures and animated gifs during the previews and that takes up power to run all that cr*p.
I have installed thunderbird but I am not really happy with the new feature of crashing everything I open an attachment.
