Next week is Thanksgiving so this is going to be a 2 parter: what are you doing for thanksgiving and what are you thankful for this year?
For me, I'll be making dinner with all the trimmings and having some friends over, including some EO friends.
As for what I'm thankful for this yr, the list is huge but I'll cut it down to just a few:

1. my family & friends
2. my good health
3. having a roof over my head, enough food to eat, clothes to wear
4. owning my own trucking company and having some really terrific drivers
5. meeting some EO people this yr and forging some lasting friendships from it
6. being a first time grandma-ma this yr

If FedEx gives me loads, I will be running. If not, I will be home with my family.

Many things to be thankful for:
1. Health and strength
2. Family and friends
3. Still an expediter even in these hard times

We are at HOME! We have not been home since the first part of September nor have we been able to even get close to here to run by and pickup our mail. So the first thing I am thankful for is to be home and help with preparing our traditional Thanskgiving Meal.

I am thankful for a lot and here is the short list:
Our Captain daughter is back in the country and will be home for Thanksgiving
Oldest daughter planned awesome Bonfire at our house with friends and we made it home for that
My sister is doing mentally better after going through a bitter divorce and will be with us this year for Thanksgiving
We have had a safe year in our business and looking forward to another year
Having so many great friends to share with on the road
Having EO which gives us another avenue to meet people as insane as us....

WE will be home for Thanksgiving, NO amount of work or money is worth spending the Holidays with family.

We are thankful for family, our friends and the freedom to enjoy our lives with them as we see fit.

The wife and I plan to keep running, we will try to get to the kids house for Christmas but back out just after. Hope its better than last year.

We are at home and will be here all week. We will be having
dinner at our house for Thanksgiving. We'll have a great
dinner and spend time together.

I am very thankful for my family and friends.

That we are healthy and have no family member that
is very ill right now.

I am thankful for my son and daughter in law and the
twins they are expecting in April.

I am thankful that we have such a good a place to work in these troubling times.

There are lots of other things I am thankful for but I don't have all night to post ...LOL..

Ya'll have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Another thing I forgot to mention, I am sooooo thankful to be debt free. You don't know it until you experience it. Even the grass feels better under your feet when you are debt free (I like to walk a lot barefoot.)

In Poughkeepsie NY. Never made it home last Year.
Maybe this year. Lost a load to Lorado TX. Maybe the Man upstairs will get me home for Thanksgiving this year.

Thankfull that I have a strong family & and they are all well.
Home Team!!!!!
I Wish them Happiness and togetherness through these trying times.

TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING,
BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP.
I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS,
I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.

THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED -
THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE,
BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION
WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT.
TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION,
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.
SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR,
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.
GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES,
PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES.

I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND,
'TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE GROUND.
I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING, FLOATING INTO THE SKY,
WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING AND A HANDFUL OF PIE.
BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED PAST THE TREES....
HAPPY EATING TO ALL - PASS THE CRANBERRIES, PLEASE.



MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY,
MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP.
MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP.
MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS.
MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE,
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS!!

Upstate South Carolina is home, and where I'm at, at the present time. Hope to be in Brandenburg, KY. for thanksgiving so that I may be with my very special lady.

Things I'm thankfull for:
1 That Jesus, and God our Father in heaven are in, and a part of my life.
2 That I finally found someone who means so much to me, and that she feels the same about me.
3 That I'm so lucky to be able to wake up and get up and move each, and everyday.
4 That I have clothes, food, a roof over my head, and a job in todays turbulant times.
5 I'm thankfull for, and love my parents (Passed on), and brothers.
6 I'm thankfull for my friends.

And I'd like to extend my wishes for a happy and wonderfull Thanksgiving to each and everyone of you out there! God bless each and everyone of you.
