Thanksgiving Dinner

As is our Load One tradition we will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner free of charge for any of our drivers who are up in Detroit over the holiday away from home or without anyone to celebrate with. As well we are happy to open this up to any other expedite drivers that might be up here in Detroit over the holiday away from home. It is casual so jeans are fine. Dinner buffet will be served from 12-3. Just come on upstairs and tell them you are with the Load One party. They have a separate room for us so we can also watch some Lions football and enjoy. They have parking that can accommodate vans and straight trucks without a problem.

I just want you to know how much it's appreciated, even though I didn't take advantage of it. [If I'm going to overeat, it has to be something I REALLY like, so I made stuffed cabbage, lol].
It's a heartwarming gesture, and including drivers who run for other carriers is a real class act - thank you. :)

John, your kind gesture make one want to rush out and purchase a new Ford Transit and go to work for Load 1, but, at 81 years old its just a dream, Happy Thanksgiving .

He was talking to a friend of mine at the Expo when I called her, and when she asked where I was, he pulled out his phone & told her, before I could, lol. [I'd stopped enroute for ice, didn't really know where I was, precisely]
I'd have had some negative things to say if it had been anyone else, but being John Elliot, it was funny. Now I know who to call if I ever get really lost! ;)
