2011 MATS was a huge success

The MATS Health Awareness Walk as well as the blood drive with The American Red Cross was well attended by Expediters.

We are a small segment of the trucking industry but we sure support good causes.

At one point as I was in the blood mobile bus and there were two expediters who has just finished giving blood, four expediters giving blood, and two waiting to donate. It was impressive.

The MATS Health Awareness Walk was not as well attended as we had hoping but once again I looked around and there were the Expediters in full force.

Thanks to all of you guys who were willing to donate blood and got up early in the morning for a stroll around the convention center grounds.

What do you think of having the walk during the show on Friday before everyones feet hurt so bad they cannot walk? To some people it is rather late in the day....

I was sore thurs, so there was no "good" time for me I think 8 or 9 am on fri is about the best you can do. Too much to see in such a short time.
