Sorry. I couldn't make it AGAIN!!! I was taking everyone else's loads that was at the Expo! Lol. And being in Nebraska doesn't exactly constitute DH'n 900+ miles. Although if you might have known me a few months ago I wouldn't think twice about going there from Nebraska. I've been trying to change my strategy about DHn and am making more $$$. Hmmmmm.

I had a total DH of over 1200 miles but I did it in a Cobalt SS, the small motor made it much cheaper. The van comes out of the shop Monday and then I have some work I will be doing on it so I will be back for my loads on Wednesday.

I thought it was a awesome Expo and I am still paying for it.... All I want to do today is sleep not get back to work. Put more faces to screen names which was as always fun. The expo is interesting as sometimes it is the only time we see certain people. There is never enough time to sit and chat with everyone and that is really the pits.

There were several people who I was only able to say Hi! to that I really wanted to sit and chat with maybe next year.

Once again Lawrence and family has organized a wonderful event for networking and improving our businesses.

Bring on EXPEDITE EXPO 2012~~~~

As ChefDennis said: wow! I've been to every Expo at The Roberts Center, and it just gets better every year. [It seems to get hotter, too!]
To all who contributed their time, equipment, food, organizational skill, and/or labor - it was very much appreciated by everyone.
The exhibits were great, the show trucks awesome, seminars were very good, too - but nothing is better than the camaraderie that we share, and the proof, everywhere you look, that expediters are a cut above the rest. [At breakfast this morning, the hostess at Max & Erma's said we are the most fun of any group she's seen. :D]
I'm already looking forward to 2112!

I also want to Thank John and Shelly for CIS and their "Crew"..what great Booth Neighbors they were...Thanks for your Involvement as a sponsor and the friendliness and great conversations over the weekend..I look forward to saying "HI" next year!!

One more thing..We all have a "time" here posting on EO..then we talk to people out on the road...while we post here, there are people we haven't met, we form opinions based on "stuff that is posted here, and from what we gather for people on the road...

Going to Expo this year gave me a chance to meet ALOT of people i have never met face to face..it also gave me the opportunity to dispell alot of those "formed opinions'....I can say I left this years Expo with new respect and freinds from each of those that I had already formed "ill" opinions....Thanks to those new friends for taking time to say "hi and then taking time to just talk about more then just "business"..it was truly enjoyable and "enlightening"....:)

Thank you to all the folks involved in the Expo. My wife got a lot out of the women's class, it made her fell less alone on the road. She enjoyed the presentation and was pleased with the great turnout. Thanks also to Dennis for showing us the CargoMax. It was good to have a face to go with the name. Elvis was weird but fun. Thanks to FedEx for the food. Good pasta and nice conversation. Gotta buy a high top van now cuz my wife saw several she liked and its going to be a long summer if we dont trade up soon. Now its time to rack up the miles, pad the savings account, drifting along with the tumblin tumbleweeds.

Tumbleweed, it was good to put a face with the name and a pleasure to meet you and share my idea of what works for me out here as far as the CargoMax goes....
