Thank you notes or cards

When someone does something admirable, or a big favor DO YOU SEND A THANK YOU NOTE....

Nothing is more appriciated than a thank you note HAND WRITTEN with a stamp on it. When was the last time you took the time to send one to a friend for just calling you out of the blue?

Heck whens the last time you sent one to your wife, for just loving you? Let alone putting up with you.

Ever sent one to a truck stop just cause the shower attenedant did a gerat job? Or someone who worked behind the counter was so pleasant it made your day?

Now I am out of stamps, but someone who visits here quite often, went out of ones way to pick me up at a Terminal and take me out to Breakfast. So my deepest THANK YOU, it made my week, great conversation and better company. Your an outstanding member to this forum.

Well, Broomer...

Without a doubt, "Thank yous" are important..
But, sometimes a face-to-face is better than just a written note.
Sometimes, you can just express yourself more completely in person..

As an example, I'm looking forward to getting together
with some of the EO authors at ExpediteExpo...

How about you, Broomer... who deserves your personal time...???
(personal time is worth much more than a stamp...)

Keep Thanking... :7

Great idea!

I prefer to send a "Thank-you" card or a short note. When I do so, it indicates that I took some extra time to accomplish the task and I believe the recipient appreciates the personal touch even more.

Historically speaking, the spoken word passes away fairly soon.

Conversely, we are still reading the written word from over 2000 years ago.

Kraig, I don't consider it going out of my way to share a meal with a friend. I also totally enjoyed our conversations and had a lot of laughs with you. Over the years you have made decent contributions to EO and they are appreciated.

Drive safe my Friend.
