Hey all, about a year and half to almost two years ago I responded to an ad on Craig's List for Wolenski Trucking for team drivers driving a straight truck and a few months later after responding to the ad Tempus Transport calls me to follow up when I called Wolenski Trucking. I've been reading Tempus Transport's website and noticed they have a mentor driver program to show or teach you how to expedite. Is that program like a student that just graduated from a truck driving school and needs to go out with a trainer for six weeks or are they going to teach me over they phone while I'm teaming with someone? Last night I looked them up on the Rip Off Report and read some very old threads from 2012 and 2013 about Wolenski Trucking and Tempus Transport not paying their drivers. I'm pretty sure those threads were from some disgruntle drivers that fired for one reason or another. Is there any drivers that has, have, and had any good or bad experiences. If you are the drivers that has some bad experiences with Tempus Transport please be honest about what happened and please do not bash the company. Thank you for any feedback and comments.

P.S.
Has Wolenski Trucking now changed their name to Tempus Transport?

Nothing on SAFER http://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/companysnapshot.aspx under the names Wolenski Trucking or Tempus Transport? Do you have an MC or DOT number?
Hey Moot thanks for the link, Wolenski Trucking and Tempus Transposrt are contractors for Panther, so I'm not sure on how to look up a contractor's safety record. If I can't find them in the link that you gave me doe's that mean they have a good safety record? And no I do not have an MC or DOT number.

What it means is they are using the company name to get paid for tax purposes as well as hiring drivers. Since they are leased on with Panther they don't need a MC or DOT number. In that case you cannot check their safety record because they are not registered with authority. Don't worry many people do it this way. Nothing wrong with it unless they run freight seperatly from Panther.

Yeah, what Treadmill said. Apparently neither company has operating authority, they just own trucks and lease these trucks to Panther under Panther's authority. Usually the carrier doesn't get involved with pay disputes between a fleet owner and its contracted drivers. I would guess though, if there were enough legitimate complaints against a specific fleet owner the carrier would probably drop them.
