temperature controlled shipping

Hi All,
I am new here and trying to figure out how to ship some printing ink, sealed bottles in boxes, across country without subjectiong it to freezing conditions, if it freezes it will go bad.
Any help would really be appreciated.

how much ink are you talking about? if not much, prolly cheapest to have ups of fed-ex pick it up and put insurance on it, therefor if frozen, you covered...if you talking LARGE quanities, contact any of the top cariers that have temp controlled units and they can set you up and take care of ya....good luck

Tried calling any expedite companies?

should be no problem hauling this in a cargo van.

The biggest question is how much are you shipping? Until that is know it will be hard to give an answer. Just to let you know shipping it expedite is going to cost more than going with a truckload company that has refers if you are shipping that much, I would think.

weight and size

I spoke with Davekc and he gave me some direction, Thanks Dave ! it is only about 240 lbs and 30" x 30" x 30" box on a pallet. I talked to usf holland they cant help. It does not have to be fast but has to stay 50 to 72 degrees. Thanks in advance. Robert

You can also contact an LTL Temp Control Carrier. Several around, look for LTL Carriers in yellow pages or online. Also, for that small a shipment, if I were going that direction, i'd put it in the sleeper.
