***** SOURCE ALERT *****

The Tea Party Express is paid by Our Country Deserves Better run by Howard Kaloogian that also runs Move America Forward, Kaloogian is the "real deal" in the word political disinformation.

- Freedom of Speech: In June 2004, he was one of the founders of the pro-war organization Move America Forward, which achieved notoriety for its campaigns to lobby movie theaters to not show Michael Moore's documentary film, "Fahrenheit 9/11.

- Disinformation Campaign: In March 2006, Kaloogian posted on his site a street level photograph claiming he took the picture in a recent trip to Baghdad. He showed it as evidence that life was peaceful and normal in the Iraqi capital and not the war-torn zone the media portrayed. It was latter discovered that the picture was in reality of the Bakirköv suburb of Istanbul, Turkey. link 1, link 2, link 3.

forkinhim.jpg

- False Endorsements: Kaloogian has claimed several endorsements that have been proved lies and refuted by the organizations and individuals in question: The California Pro-Life Council, The Center for Reclaiming America, State Senator Tom McClintock, State Senator Bill Morrow.

Just so we know where this garbage comes from... :D:D

A lie well told and stuck to is just as good as the truth....
Those that post this nonsense are too focused on smearing Obama to be bothered with the facts.

Spoken from a True Obumma Koolaid Drinker, Have you ever Thought that Maybe--Just Maybe that the American People Including some Ex-Obumma Koolaid Drinkers are getting tired Of Obumma and his Little Band Of Thieves and Miscreants?:D

Those that post this nonsense are too focused on smearing Obama to be bothered with the facts.

You mean like the facts that never stopped Algore from getting rich off of environmental socialism?

Or the facts that Pelosi is spewing about not knowing about water boarding?

Or how bout the facts that Obama forgot to mention about his REAL agenda?

Or his dancing the side-step about his "friends".

Or Barney Frank and Chris Dodd with the FF fiasco.

Or the facts that libs in Congress fail to mention about gun control never affects the actual criminal; only law abiding citizens - while most criminals get off easy.

Fact is, I don't have a problem with this guy trying to get theatres to not show Moore's crap. Do YOU know for a fact that those aren't the streets of Baghdad? Who knows? Maybe you're getting YOUR facts from someone who wants you to think like THEM... kinda like the MSM. At worse, he's not nearly as bad as George Soros. And George is the DEMOCRATS' organ grinder!

On the one hand we have Howard Kaloogian, a wealthy conservative or "right wing" activist. Some of his past activities or statements might be questionable, but the "Tea Party Express" promotes a reasonable conservative agenda. At first glance it looks legitimate and it's understandable why it would be ridiculed as "garbage" by condescending liberals who consider themselves to be better than the neanderthal conservatives who don't see things their way.

One the other hand, we have George Soros, a wealthy liberal or "left wing" activist and a polar opposite of Kaloogian. Without going into an extensive review of his statements and publications of the past several years, it's safe to say his false and outrageous claims are easily equal to those of Kaloogian. For example, how many of us remember the "General Betrayus" ad? (And was the Surge in Iraq successful?) I realize very few of us venture into Soros' website, but it gives us a revealing insight into the liberal mindset:

MoveOn.org: Democracy in Action

And of course there's always this lively spot for truth, justice and the America way:

Daily Kos: State of the Nation

Just keep in mind there's plenty of liberal "garbage" to go around as well.

Your ignorance really grates on my nerves. Are you capable of posting anything without mentioning Kool-Aid or calling the President juvenile names? I don't believe you are.

How quickly we forget the derision and juvenile name-calling directed at George Bush over the past eight years. Is that sort of activity supposed to be acceptable when it comes from liberals?

I don't really give a Fat babies Butt about getting on your Nerves, What do you think that You and The Other Koolaid Drinking Obumma Supporters do to my Nerves? And as Far as That Guatamale, Guantanamo or whatever he calls himself goes and all the Rhetoric he Spews Doesn't make any Difference to me cuz I Just Laugh at The Ignorance and Your Obumma Blind eyes which Hopefully will Clear Up with some Visine and maybe then you will see that Your little Capon in the White House as well as His Little Band of Thieves in Congress Are Going to Destroy this Country as well as The Constitution!! :D

I have been a hard critic of GWB. I defy you to find a single post where I called him a juvenile name, or any derogatory term for that matter.

No... but I didn't see you denouncing it, either.

I made your point, huh? More likely, you made mine. I have no problems denouncing the Repubs when they screw up. I didn't "RAH RAH!" Bush thru his 8 yrs. The only kool-aid I drink is that of the Constitution... that's it, nothing else. We (conservatives) can put all the proof we want out there. But if you aren't willing to listen, then facts don't make a difference to YOU, my friend. I don't believe one thing or another just because it fits my view. If facts come into play, they are king. Otherwise, don't confuse facts with opinion!

This thread is quite interesting, revealing as it does the tactics used by the opposing sides:
Mr G posts a refutation of the first post, citing facts to prove his contention.
Every rebuttal to Mr G is either childish name calling, vague derogatory comments regarding the other side, or deflection, ie: the left did this, the libs did that.
Except THawk's response, which was contradictory, in claiming to drink only the Constitution koolaid, while having no problem with the attempts to suppress free speech [Moore's movie] when it suits his view. [Would he be so accepting of efforts to prevent folks from seeing a movie with a conservative agenda? I think not.]
Very amusing, guys, but not very convincing.

That's only possible if you are a liberal because you have a special view of things and in your view that makes sense. If you aren't a liberal you have a realistic view of money/finance and can't figure out such things.

O.K. Point taken. I hereby denounce anyone using desparaging remarks or using juvenile names to describe the President of the United States.

About 8 yrs too late, aren't you?

I listen. Facts do make a difference. I think you know I'm not a left wing nutjob that buys everything the left is selling. To say " I don't believe one thing or another just because it fits my view" is not true. The very fact you are responding to this post proves it.

I was posting that more to contest your assumption that I'm a mindless right-wing junkie. I don't necessarily agree with the right-wing Soros types, as I think they do more harm than good. However, the propaganda machine moves on on both sides, and I learned to live with it... much like voting for a moderate Republican.

And honestly, there's so much crap thrown out there in the name of truth, it would be a full time job to check everything out. I do research as time permits. But, realistically, research ends up being a google search, and reading other ppls' material... which may not be researched in the end, as well. Ppl who write RARELY have no agenda, so it's hard to rely on the written word.

Madame, try taking a look at the Constitution. The 1st Amendment tells THE GOVERNMENT not intrude on your freedom of speech. Being this man is NOT a government entity giving the theatres an order, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FREE SPEECH!!!

I may not like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton throwing their weight (pun intended, Big Al) around for their race-pimping agendas, I defend their right to do so. THAT'S what the 1st Amendment is about! Being that you used to be a mod here, I'm surprised that you forgot that point, whether by choice or not.

And the ever present not-so-vague [but incredibly immature] derogatory comment, too.

nope Fruitlands was real...google it...become the bee....

Boyhowdy, what did you think I meant by Fruitlans? Talk about being immature! The founders of Fruitlands were way ahead of their time...Reading about them one would think they were from 1966.....

Amos Bronson Alcott: Fruitlands
