That is awsome. My brother is heavy into model trains. He has both N and HO scale. Has a large part of his basement set up for it.

When I was a kid,my dad and I put together an S guage train setSimilar to the America Flyer model,2 tracks instead of three, and much larger than the HO.It covered the basement's rear wall, with a dog leg on each end.We had mountains cities and lakes made with paper mache. The end tables that made the dog legs were removable,so there was more room in the basement when the grown ups would have their parties. We had pics in the Sunday paper, was to bad when we sold the house, the masterpeice went with the house

That wasn't there when I was in Germany. I did see a nice setup by some canucks in France that covered about 8 x 32 ft area. Even had an aiport and the guys and kids used 1/72 scale models to supplement the HO scale models and trains.

Another nice setup was in Holland (can't remember the place by name). It had gardens and an miniature town and country area with trains, roads, canals, vehicles, people, buildings and such. Covered quite an area and of course the obigatory stacks of tulips around. One of those outdoor tourist things
