TA/Petro - "E" parking a waste of space

I have been using TA/Petro a lot more lately, but one thing that seems to be very annoying about them are those "E" parking spaces.
I know it was posted a while back that these were for Employees and not Expediters, but holy cow, i have been at several TA/Petro's in the last week and almost half the spaces have been marked E, the employees park in the middle spaces, non-E, so you have a bunch of spaces empty, in the best spots for expediters.
What a waste of space a tired expediter could be using.

That's my vent for the day! Lol

But they don't cater to vanners like their competition so those spaces will remain empty.

Wasn't the head honcho of TA/Petro just asking why we don't use them more??? Could be the reason is TA/Petro's attitude towards us. Just sayin'

They put all those spots along the back curb, where I always want to park....so I do. If it's all empty, which it usually is, we just park there anyway. No problems yet.

I've used the E spaces at TA too, on occasion, with no problem, as they have been largely unused by anyone else.

I wonder, now, if the "E" spaces just might be for expediters. After the last session here where the CEO was asking why we don't use them more, they may have gotten the idea that giving us dedicated space to park is the way to go. A little clarification on this would go a long way.

A year or two ago all of the majors had parking regulations out front and enforced them. In the last year most have stopped bothering anyone who parks out front. Good example is the J in Laredo. Two years ago we were asked to move. Now it is bobtail heaven. We drive a stright.
There are exceptions but I see more bobtails out front at more TS's than ever before.

I think the enforcement of bobtails, straights, may have to do with the manager at a truck stop. Some hate bobtails up front, some do not care.Maybe I am wrong.

I am currently parked in a parking space marked with an "E", which I am interpreting as "Expeditor." Plus, it is one of several empty spaces around the perimeter of the lot.The un-marked spaces, in the center, are all occupied with cars.

If It fits and you can park there then do...I see these signs NO TRUCKS at a truck stop and wonder to myself, ok nobodys gonna drive a semi into the front lot but a complete TOOL or some newbie who cant read ENGLISH....Ive never been bothered while parked in a front lot spot as long as its safe and you arent a hazard...E = EVERYBODY...Most employees park right next to the building on the side etc.....the only place Ive ever been rousted was an Upscale lot in Cleveland at the Steelyard Mall, ten thousand parking spots, parked all the way out by the edge and the mall cop says WE DONT LET TRUCKS SLEEP OVERNITE...hands me a map to another mall parking lot .....
