TA all you can eat menu

I don't know how many of you actually eat at the TA's but I thought that I would post this just in case. :D There are 45 TAs who now have their entire menu as all you can eat. In other words if the menu says your meal is $5.99 then you get all you can eat for that price. This includes steaks seafood...everything on the menu. They tested this at a few locations and had such a great response they decided to extend it.

Can't stuff my pie hole like I used to. Went to din-din with several friends this eve. Had a kiddie portion of spaghetti and meat balls, scrounged a small amount of my wife's rabbit food and a piece of bread. Have lost 40 lbs in about 18 months. The less I weigh, the less I want to eat.

Yea, I've lost 20# since being at home. It's bad when I look forward to being on the road so I can relax. The way I look at it, is the more a person eats, the more their stomach stretches. The more it stretches, the more it takes to give a person that full feeling.Besides, I want to get in the studmuffin status like a-team.

I really think TA missed the boat with this new promotion.

Everywhere I seem to read about over weight truckers and the health risks of our profession. I felt as if TA should have invested the money in a healthier menu that would list the nutritional value of every meal they serve.

The TA is going the wrong way to get more people to eat in their restaurants as we do not need more food we need healthier choices.

You are correct on that one Team Caffee. They should be putting healthy choices on the menu with smaller portions AND prices. They would end up making more money if they did.

Yeah, I would rather see healthier stuff, than all you can eat.

I'm a big guy, but have lost a 'bit'.. and I'd love to see truck stop restaurants offer smaller portioned, healther fare.

I ate at a T/A the other night, got a sandwich and fries, waitress kept coming back asking if I wanted another..

Ok.. it's 1/3 pound friggin burger, I'm not goin to finish it, but it's the smallest thing I could find.. no I don't want 2 more.. LOL.

Confuses the heck out 'em when a big guy don't order 'big'. :D

Definitely lower prices and if that includes smaller portions that's ok too provided they aren't insanely small. Healthier is ok too provided it's not too healthy (aka no longer tastes good).

I am with Dale on this one....I haven't had a buffet in about a year...there is no real value....one tends to over eat and thats not good....most of us are 50 plus and have to watch our intake....
I like the J's senior breakfast....2 eggs, hashbrowns, 2 toast for 4 bucks take your own coffee in....with the seniors discount even with tax you eat for under 4 bucks!! It fills me up...

I'd rather see more senior menus, smaller portions, smaller prices...

It makes little difference to us if they changed thier "doggie bag" policy, we don't have a dog!!! HEHEHE NOW THAT was FUNNY!!! :D

Ever since they changed to the paper menus, their selections became crap. I am rarely able to get down one helping, let alone multiples. Usually, their buffets aren't so bad.

J, on the other hand, is just garbage, except for breakfast. Most of their food tastes the same. They fry it in the same oil slick.

I'll usually go out of my way to find a decent diner or Waffle House.

I'm getting picky in my old age. ;)
