Maybe I just never noticed this before but the last few days I've noticed that when I start the truck in the morning the voltmeter remains at 12v for several minutes before popping up to 14 where it should be. It does increase with rpm but drops back to 12 then after a few minutes it pops right up to 14 and stays there - is this normal on KW's? I'm thinking I might get the batteries (3) load tested in case one or more is going south.
