T/A steps up to the plate

I am in Dallas and had an issue with the T/A here. I posted a comment through the T/A website feedback page yesterday. Today I got a phone call from their customer service representative and we had a nice conversation for several minutes. Unlike another chain who hasn't responded in over a week, T/A was quick to address my issue and has earned significant customer service points as well as more of my business in the future.

There's a new Love's on 45 exit 272 just a few miles back toward Houston. I'm going to try it next time. I didn't know it was there or I might have stopped this time. I'm moving more toward T/A because the Landstar discount makes them about as good price as anywhere and I can use the Comdata card. The Dallas location is better than the J across the street but unless you spend money inside they charge you to park. That keeps it a little nicer and cleaner though. Anyway, I'm definitely impressed with their corporate responding to my comments, unlike another chain that doesn't respond at all.

Leo,
I live in Dallas and that Love's your talking about is a really nice one. I got into town late on Thanksgiving and didn't feel like driving up to the north side where I live so I spent the night in that Love's parking lot. I was a little concerned about staying there cause of the area of town but I didn't have any problems. I took a good look at the neighborhood the next morning. It was old but very clean. There are routine problems at the T/A and J but nothing so far at Love's.

There is another really nice Love's about half-way between Dallas and Sherman on US-75 exit 248 (Anna)heading towards Tulsa. I've owned a farm right down the road from there for 20 years, it is one of the safest places on earth.

There's a truckstop in Italy, which is just south of Dallas on 35E. Ironically, it's called Italy Truckstop. Dusty lot, but nice and quiet when I was there. Store was clean too.

I am probably going back to T/A's since Pilot decided to get cheap wwith reward points. I have had issues with the Flying J miserable incompetent clerks so I refuse to go there. I like the TA's in Cartersville GA,San Antonio, and Eloy AZ as some of the best in the T/A chain. Now most Loves are pretty decent and in the SouthEast Wilco's are ok.

Hey Leo,
Grats on service with T/A I never was that big a fan of a place that doesn't post their fuel prices on the street but call me crazy as this past year I gave them a try and oila my fuel milage bumped considerably.
Till this year you couldn't convince me of a difference in quality of diesel but I am sold now (I should have listened to the older drivers).
When do we get to see the new truck?

Hopefully soon. I sent in the photos since they can't be uploaded right now so it's just a matter of when they get time to post a thread with them.

Could it be that T/A does not heat their fuel?? Hmmmm. I told a friend that wanders around with a RV about the rumor that Flying J heats their fuel. The other day he told me,he had been in Albuquerque NM and the outside temp was 58,the temp of the fuel coming out of the Flying J west of town was a nice even 100.
