On our local news show the news anchor lady just said "It's not a good idea to pick your nose in public."

How stupid and waste of air time. It is common manners to not do private things in public.
Since they mentioned this on the news, I am tempted to do what they said not to.

This is the same nonsense like, be sure to wear a rain coat when it rains, because things get wet when it rains.

Eating boogers may boost immunity, scientist suspects - CBS News

reminds me of a song we used to sing as kids, "Everyones doin it doin it, pickin their nose an chewin it." I know, highly inapproprate Joe, but I couldnt help myself.
