Stuck in Florida. Stuck in Carlisle. You seem to get stuck a lot. Now you're gonna be stuck in Taylor.

Life is what you make it.

Not gonna **** off the money people, we just don't post where our loads are going or revenue on loads, we dealt with that with other companies! Other teams call in and complain if you get good runs or the revenue is higher on loads! Been there done that got the t shirt! Dispatch has been working to try to load us, but the rate is too cheap! There were a couple loads yesterday that were a joke, they said they didn't even bother to bid them! Let the bottom feeders have 'em!

That is fine that way...BUT you shouldn't be posting "stuck" with an angry face, our dispatch reads here.....to be fair..if you are going with "stuck here" you should do as some do "got one"..it gives balance..just saying....

More than just dispatch reads here, too. Posting "stuck" with an angry face causes any number of people to begin certain processes. If those processes are based on incomplete or misleading information, then those people have just wasted their time. One of those processes is John getting on the phone to Operations to find out what the heck is going on. Awesome.

Not to mention it is just plain dishonest to use that word after a short period.

I think we've all gotten "stuck" to some degree just because we don't do "cheap". We do tend to sit when it is slow for that little extra time.... So the "stuck" is really on us....and our principals..

Getting"Stuck" is the name of the game.Sure, it gets frustrating, but these are the ABC'S of this business.Don't let it get to you.Keep you're mind on other things, stay positive.Take up needlepoint, or something to pass the time away...lol..I rarely call dispatch to see what is going on.I know they are looking for loads, that's what they do.So, a phone call is not going to make a load appear. For every phone call we make bugging them, it takes that much more time away from them to find us a load.Stay positive and focused, being proactive, not reactive.

"Stuck" is a term that I have great difficulty with respect to where an expediter chooses to sit. The only time I've been "stuck" anywhere is when the truck was broken down and was being repaired, and I was unable to leave. Unless you're broken down, you're not stuck. So I agree, the "stuck" is really on us....and our principals.. It's why I stated, "Life is what you make it."

It's like the difference between "broke" and "poor". One is a temporary condition, the other is a chronic state of mind.
