at home waitting for the storm to hit sometime after lunch
and last about 24 hours or so hope we will come out ok
have the truck in drive way so beable to use the genset
if the power goes out,
will be able to keep the feezer and refer going and watch a little
tv and coffee pot going to
having a cup of coffee in hurricane isn't hard to take
if you are able to have a hot cup of coffee
also one more reason to have a genset on the truck have
150 gallons of fuel to keep it running instead of 5 gallons or so

Hi Geo, We're sitting here watching the storm coverage on Fox News. Wishing nothing but the best for you, stay safe! On the lighter side, some of these clips of people trying to walk in this stuff, one lady looked like she was fighting not only to walk but to keep her britches up! And then we're expecting one of the reporters at any moment to stop and say "I've got GOOD NEWS, I just saved a bunch on my auto insurance"!!
You have to find humor in everything to survive!
Stay safe. DD

Geo, glad to see you back, we were starting to wonder about ya. Good to hear that everyone and everything survived but the coffee pot.....now, what's up with that? Nobody has the same coffee pot for 20 years, it just ain't natural!

Just Killin' Time!!

Hey Geo...went 7 days too. Our daughter has an eighteen month old. She almost went crazy. Can't understand why we couldn't get ice etc. AND to all those people that raised the price of ice, bread and other staples...I sincerely hope you are satified with your actions and you can sleep well-mcbride

I truly wish them all the very worst always!!!! I hope they all burn in hell!!!!! The ones that raised their prices and took advantage of the storm, that is. That isn't smart business that is rude and vulgar behavior. I will never buy from people like that and the rest of you should practice the same MOTTO. If it means drive a mile or 5 miles down the road to someone else, then so be it.

Teacel,

Thank you so much for re-phrasing that whole statement for me! LOL It was pathetic how so many stores took advantage of people's day to day needs by cranking up prices. Then, the Red Cross, etc, would have water/ice give aways etc and the people who didn't have power had know way of knowing where the locations were....so the people that had power...you know...
