Sprinter & Vito – Van of the Year | MYVAN
More than 9,000 kilometers in 600 test drives – in extensive field tests 32 experts from the courier, express and postal industry (KEP) have identified the “KEP Van of the Year 2012″ in five categories. A total of 20 vans took part.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter won in the category “Van up to 3.5 Tons.” The Mercedes-Benz Vito is best “Van up to Three Tons. The Peugeot Bipper won “Compact Van” and Fiat Doblo in the “Delivery Van” category.
The Innovation Award for alternative drive systems was taken by the Mercedes-Benz Vito E-CELL and the Renault Kangoo ZE electric van.
The following vehicles participated in the competition: Citroën Berlingo, Citroën Jumpy, Fiat Fiorino, Fiat Doblò Cargo, Fiat Scudo, Fiat Ducato, Mercedes-Benz Vito, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Nissan NV 400, Peugeot Bipper Avantage, Peugeot Partner Avantage, Peugeot Expert Avantage, Peugeot Boxer Avantage, Renault Master, Ford Transit as well as VW Caddy, VW T5, VW Crafter, Mercedes-Benz Vito E-Cell and Renault Kangoo Z.E.
