I'm from Dayton, OH area and interested in tall sprinter van expediting. Any recommendations from current/recent drivers about companies to drive for? TryHours is already on my list.

Panther is a good one. Out of medina. You can apply and drive for a fleet owner. Once your approved they will put you on a list that fleet owners will see to contact you. If interested PM me and I can give you my recruiters info.

I do not have a van. I have no need to be home every night or even every week; over the road is much more appealing to me.

More info: I imagine something like a double-height, 2-or-3-skid sprinter/transit-type with sleeping set up and heat seems nice. Willing to learn about hazmat and get licensed (in due time). Thanks for info so far.

EDIT: Not unwilling to do local carries, though.

That's great. I think it's best to get my feet wet as a company van driver before moving to next steps. I'm still interested to hear from van drivers who enjoy their carriers (carriers who can employ people from around Dayton, OH).
