Good afternoon, mr berry. Since you have a ford van, i am guessing it is an extended-wheelbase model.what is the amount of room left after adequate space given for 2 skids, to put a sleeper in? i know it is not much.but just wondering.i am hauling way too many van loads with my 10-wheeler. it is just a waste of $$ to run this truck for the pay and small freight. time to park it, i guess.any info would be of great help.thank you.

Guido... my Ford E350 is an extended van with 126" inches of linear space from back door to bulkhead. Cargo capacity of 2600 LBS. Averages 18mpg empty and loaded. 7.3L diesel. My two Ford diesel vans have combined mileage over one million miles with few repairs needed. A good used one, under 150,000 miles, can be found for less than $10,000.

guido, the above is correct. i have a cargo area of 104 inches and can get a small mattress between the drivers seat and the front of the cargo area. i made a copy of the oldprofs plastic pipe bunk frame to keep it off the floor and store my stuff underneath. hanger on the wall to hold my outdoor clothing. its very close. cannot stand. i have 2x4 s that support the bunk in the cargo area so i can sleep fairly horizontal when empty.

i wish i was running a lot of van frt.

Jack Berry. Can you send pics of the plastic pipe bunk I was posting about? Maybe the reason no Sprinters are at the T stops is because they're rolling.

Its real tempting to get a new 07/08 Sprinter..most dealers have them marked down from MSRP of $45,000 down to around $37,000.....
