I got a pretty good collection of speedy points.. If I know they are not running corn oil in the diesel I have no problem buying fuel from them.

Marathon and Pilot used to be partners. In 2001 they got together and formed Pilot Travel Centers, chiefly by converting all of the old Speedway Truck Stops to Pilots. In 2008 Pilot bought out Marathon's stake in Pilot, when they partnered up with CVC Parnters. Last month Pilot Flying J announced their intention to buy out CVC. (PFJ still has partnerships with Road Ranger and Town Pump for those locations.)

Marathon used to own Ashland Oil, which also owned the SuperAmerica brand, and the Speedway and SuperAmerica brands used the same loyalty cards and points. In 2011 Marathon sold SuperAmerica to Northern Tier Energy out of Minnesota and the two brands are no longer related at all.

As for the hot dogs, PFJ, Speedway and lots of other convenience stores use hot dogs (and the roller grill items like the taquitos) from Sabrett and Landshire, who are wholesale foodservice suppliers.

Maybe 3 or 4 Expediting companies could merge, thus combining knowledge of several companies to extend the survival of all, well ,its a thought....

Wow... he knows how to use google and wikipedia.
He keeps up with stuff he's interested in. He used Wikipedia to verify the dates is all.

Turtle... you went thru the problem of looking up brands of hot dogs. For one, you missed the joke; for two, you must be lonely.
I didn't have to look up the brands. I pay attention to the labels on the boxes when they are delivered or when they're taking taking product out of them in the stores. I used to be in foodservice and still keep up with the primary industry rags, so I'm familiar with the different wholesalers and their distribution.

For one, I didn't miss the joke. Two, the personal shot is really lame.

Ah, then you're a know-it-all. I was going to say that in the first place, but a wiki-wonk was more likely, and less offensive, IMO. Regardless of your methods, you appear to purposefully try and make others on this site look like your underlings; and that is really lame.

So now you're back to me again, continuing with the personal attacks rather than being able to stay on topic? Seriously?
