Southern Based Expediters

Hi!
I am interested in becoming an O/O of a cargo van.I have decided to start small to see if I like the whole expereience. I have talked with a couple of companies but they seem to have a real problem with me living in Alabama. I am actually not in a bad spot as I have access to Birmingham, Atlanta, Memphis, Nashvill, and Chattanooga all within about 3 hours or less of me. Here's my question: Are there any southen based expediter companies other than FED EX CC? I appreciate any help you can give.
