Snow!

According to the news the first accumulating snow of the season has fallen in Colorado. Highest elevations could see up to a foot of snow before the weekend and another storm early next week.

Course I got chains - law says I have to - but the tag on the sack they're in says "Do not remove chains from bag" and I've stuck to that for years. [Ever since I delivered to Aspen, Co, for the X Games - that was enough snow to last me for another 6 or 7 years yet, lol.]
Seriously: last winter, I never put on my heavy boots at all - wonder if I'll be that lucky again this year.....

Let's hope we have a winter with lots of HEAVY snow. Nothing better to break a drought. As to the chains, I don't chain up and drive INTO problems.

Hey Cheri, did I see you in Monroe today? I THINK you were just coming out of the TA as I was turning left by the Big Boy.

Yep, was me. I didn't see you, or I'd have waved. I'm waving now, instead.

I was first in the left turn lane. I did not notice it was you until you were just about past. I was dropping my truck at the Western Star. MORE problems, funny tire wear on ONE tire. We were hoping to be back to work by now. This is getting old.

Off to sleep now. Since I can't work I am doing an early morning goose hunt with some old friends. I need some Z's.

Since I can work, I'm picking one up in the am, so it's time for me to crash too. Hahaha, Safety, I meant sleep, ok? :p [It used to crack me up, when I drove t/t, and dispatch would call and send me somewhere in the opposite direction. I'd say "Ok, Uturning now" and they'd just FREAK out, like I'm literally gonna do it on the interstate....] Made me laugh every time.

That's no fun, I hope it doesn't hurt travel on I-70, I may need to use it.

Nothing to worry about. It's to early for it to stick real good. They are mostly talking about the fourteeners.

It is a term locals use for our 14000 ft peaks. I live in Colorado I forget not everyone knows the term. Hope this helps
