By George...I think you've hit on a new winter sport...*LOL*

English Lady...you're not alone...while today is looking to be very nice...above 0..all the way up to 37...they're predicting more snow for tonight...
:)

Luckily it didn't amount to anything - light sprinkling is all. Mostly gone now, just a few little flurries.

We decided what we had always heard about snow in the great northwest was true. While those that travel in the higher elevations are experts, those that live in the cities....not so much. Seattle area had about 2 inches of snow the other morning and the folks we saw were paralyzed. Hubs went into Sam's club for supplies and it was not only just about empty of customers but a lot of the employees had called off causing some to do double duty. Also lots of fender benders.

I grew up and learned to drive in Seattle. When I moved to IN and went to escorting oversized loads I had to tell my driver that I had only driven in snow twice in my life. What a fun way to get educated, chasing houses out of a lake effect area.

LOL....yep.....living in the Cleveland area now and dealing with that good old "Lake Erie snow machine", it's easy to stand back and shake our heads at those who struggle with so little. It's all good though, I always was a people watcher so it's all in a day's fun! :D

And we've got another storm coming in so I went and got more gas...put some stabilizer in...started it up and let it run for a bit...checked the oil...knocked off the ice from the bolts to raise up the deck...now am just waiting for the muscle to show up to help me raise the deck...we have a gravel driveway and don't want to sling stones...*l*

then I put the car in the garage and still have enough room to get the snowblower out....and oh ****...the snow has started.......

About 4-5 inches already, still coming down and blowing...looks like a good day to put up the tree and stay inside until it stops...:)

And Ken's down in Texas in his shirt sleeves...he just can't wait to get home to use the snowblower...*LOL*

but i bet buy June you'll be tired of it lol

Change that bet to January! Right now I'm thinking we need the moisture for the garden and the crops next year..but I might think otherwise when I have to get the snowblower back out..

Where is the 12 gauge Juju!?!? A nice pheasant on the Christmas dinner table would be awesome...

One of my dads dreams was to go to SD for one of those famous "Pheasant hunts"...sadly he never did it...
