I'm not single, but I used to be, and I also used to read the singles ads. I also read somewhere, that 35% of the participants on singles boards were married. It was rare that you saw an ad that was different. I lost count of how many women are supposedly out there that loved "long walks on the beach or in the country" and " candlelight dinners". And don't forget ""honesty, a man that is willing to "share" his emotions. Actually the word "share" became one of the big overused catch words, if not the biggest.Maybe it still is.And of course most of the female ads were looking for someone that would be faithful, and able to make a commitment, and that was offered in return. It didn't take long before I realized that most women wanted romance, and that was probably why they wrote ads in the first place. Me, in my sgle years, I was just looking for a good time, until miss right came along, and I never answered a singles ad.....and then one day miss right did come along, and even my dog moved on.
