Finally had time to stop at a walmart stateside...indeed 22.00 for gallon of mobil one...Dodge/Freightliner/Mercedes Benz 2.7 liter diesel Sprinter vans oil filters wow can't believe I didn't find this before...anybody needing 229.51 NAPA has for 5.99 a quart...post anything here for saving money on truck stuff

Between them and europarts-sd you can get almost everything you need for a sprinter and it looks like dieselfilters now carry the promaster filters.

Berry Dodge, which is now Toliver Dodge, is also a good resource. They are this link, despite the name...

Sometimes they're more expensive than, say Europarts, sometimes they're cheaper. But it's a great resource if for nothing else to find out the dealer list, and the decent discount price of a part. They're Dodge, so they don't have Freightliner parts in the catalog (although they can get them for you). You know, things like the Freightliner grille, headlamp assemblies, headlamp trim, etc.

Then there's Rock Auto, which oftentimes carries the same OEM part that you'd get at a dealer.
