Settlement Department At FedEx

Just have to ask is anyone else having a problem getting paid on time from FedEx. I really don't think it's FedEx, I think it's more Trip Pack then anything. It seems here lately that our 4 trucks and the other 3 trucks I manage with Fedex are not getting paid for their loads ontime. Most of the time it says pending. Our Drivers write the Pro number and truck number on the customers bill of lading so I know there getting the paperwork. It's just the runs are not being paid on time. Is anyone else having the problem?

My experience has been settlement dept works like a clock. Almost always late pay has been my fault.

I learned to always record the time of the EXPECTED Trip-Pack pick up. If I deliver on Tue afternoon,Then put it in a box scheduled for PU Wed 17:00 pay will appear to be a week late.

No problems here. We have never had a problem getting paid accurately and on time with FedEx. In rare cases where a question may rise, it has been instantly resolved with a phone call. If we get our paperwork in promptly and in good order, we get paid promply and in good order.

If any Department at FedEx Custom Critical could be considered flawless it is the Settlement folks whose on-time record with us is better than our 99.999% on-time delivery record.

The problem we are having is some of the runs are being paid, but not all of them. One truck did loads from August 13th threw the 19th and turn in all the loads on the 20th,(which is a Monday). They didnt get paid for those loads, but got paid for one load they did on the 21th of August.

Never every had this problem until Bobbie Bobbit retired.

If they were transfer loads, the other driverr air charter may not have turned in their paperwork on time.

Yes Dave, I have had problems like this. I just got two settlement sheets for the same pay period.
