I have a set of Alcoa sluminum wheels that I just listed on ebay. The auction description says it all, but in a nutshell, they are used, but in real good condition. These rims are for the 11R 22.5 size tires.

I would have just put these in the classified section, but I did not think about it earlier, and there are only 2 days left in the auction.

Just a note on measuring wheel sizes....

A wheel for a 22.5" tire will measure 22.5" at the bead seat diameter. The actual outside diameter will be larger, as is the case with these. They will most likely measure 8.25" between the bead flanges, wider if measuring to the outside of the bead flanges.

The Alcoa wheels (the 4 with the large hand holes) should have a part# stamped on the inside (deep side) of the wheel. I think the other two are Accuride, but I don't know for sure where they stamp their wheels.

These wheels should be suitable for just about any 22.5" tires (295X75, 285X75 , 11R, etc.

There's been a lot of looking at them but only one bid so far, making me think the snipers are gonna be bidding in the last minute of the auction.

Rex,

Thanks for the information. I know a couple people wanted measurements on the wheel width, and what I told them, was that when I laid a tape across the wheel (while it stood on edge), I got a measurement of fabout 9.5 inches, from the outside bead, to the other outside bead.

The only other question I was asked, was if they were hub pilot or stud pilot; I was not sure what the difference was, perhaps somebody could educate me.

Thanks again, and I too, am among the ranks of the "Master Snipers."

EDIT: Spelling

Stud pilot wheels are centered on the by the lug nuts. Wheels that use this type of mount will have a countersink around the stud holes. When tightened, the nuts will fit into the countersinks and center the wheel.
Stud pilot dual wheels use an inner nut that has a square drive end and they are threaded inside and out. After the inner rear wheel is tightened, the outer wheel is secured to the inner nuts with a conventional hex-type nut. One side of the truck will have right hand thread nuts and studs while the other side will have left hand thread nuts and studs.

Hub pilot wheels (like the ones you have) are centered on the hub by a set of locating pads on the body of the hub itself that contact the inside of the large center hole. The stud holes on hub pilot wheels are straight drilled and the mount surface is flat. The nuts are all right hand thread and are made in a 2 piece design that incorporates a captured washer that contacts the wheel surface to prevent marring the wheel mount face when tightening the nuts. On the rear, both wheels are fastened with one set of nuts.

NOTE: wheel types are NOT interchangable...you must use the type that your truck is designed for!!!!
